These Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) may assist you in finding answers to your questions. If you do not find the answers you need, please do not hesitate to contact us by email, phone or sending us a message.

No special equipment is needed. Email and telephone are essential for basic communications. Video calls are highly desirable using WhatsApp, Skype, Google Duo or Zoom.

Yes. The lesson setting is very flexible due to the tailored resources used, sent to you 24 hours before the lesson.

During these challenging Covid times, switching can allow your studies to continue without undue disruption to your learning.

There is an introductory assessment to identify your current level. Every lesson / activity is set against a specific level. Levels and realistic strategies for improvement are shared with the student.

In the introductory assessment, we identify your needs, your realistic targets and levels together. During the lessons those needs are regularly met, assessed and further practice.

Lesson topic can be changed at short notice to meet an arising topic of study. Students are advised to give at least 24 hours notice for change of topic.

A lesson plan is usually sent by email prior to lesson. This allows for some preparation by you to make the session even more productive and suited to your learning needs.

At the end of each lesson, small engaging tasks are set for further practice.

With regular assessment of tasks against CECRL levels, students are shown how to progress effectively.

Learning resources are updated at the end of the lesson to monitor progress and for your personal study.

Linguaskill from Cambridge examinations and certificates are available to validate your CECRL level (Cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues). CECRL levels are from A1 to C1+.

Lessons are payable in advance due to the required preparation time. A 24 hour cancellation fee applies if you cancel the lesson on the day it is due.

No set number of lessons are required. Regular progress is the key to personal success.
